We’ve been off school in isolation a week longer than most children. I wanted to document how our first week went in case it’s useful for those just starting out
We’re now at the point of children being isolated from their friends, extended families and social lives due to the Corona Virus.
This can have an impact on their mental health (and parents too), so taking steps to minimise this is vital.
Being able to review a journal for children couldn’t have come at a better time for my son and I, who’ve been self-isolated for five days so far.
Trying to reduce the risk of your family contracting this virus is important. Whilst most people who have had Covid-19 have only had mild symptoms and recovered fully, it’s dangerous for people will poor immune systems. This reason alone is why it’s important to reduce the risk, as I don’t know a single person who hasn’t got somebody within their network who has health problems that this virus could potentially kill.
